1What is Cats VS Zombies
Cats VS Zombies is a free-to-play tower-defence game that runs inside Telegram, with no download and no sign-up. You collect cats, build a squad of five, and defend your wall against waves of zombies that get stronger the further you go.
Around that core loop sits a full game: gear, summons, a player market, clans with boss battles, ranked PvP seasons, Clan Wars, daily tasks and a mini game. Everything is played in short sessions of a minute or two.
2Waves: the core loop

Each battle is one wave. Zombies walk towards your wall while your cats shoot automatically and cast their skills. Clear the wave and you move up; let too many through and you drop back to a wave your squad can handle.
Every wave gives gold and gems based on how many zombies you defeated. Each player has a daily farm cap that grows with the wave they have reached, so progress matters more than play time.
- Regular zombies and seven bosses, including shielded and ranged ones
- Your wall has health and must be repaired after it falls
- Gear can drop from waves
3Cats: your squad
There are 15 cats in five rarities. Higher rarities hit harder, attack faster and crit more often. From Rare upwards every cat has an active skill, such as area damage, poison, slow, stun, weaken, team buffs or wall repair.

Merging feeds one cat to another to raise its stars, up to five. The cat you feed must have the same number of stars and be of the same rarity or one rarity below. Each merge costs gold, and the price grows with rarity and star level.
Stars multiply the cat's stats and the power of its skill, and higher stars also shorten the skill cooldown. Reaching new stars is also what unlocks passive slots.
| Stars | Stats | Skill power | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| ★ | ×1.4 | ×1.08 | – |
| ★★ | ×1.8 | ×1.18 | −6% |
| ★★★ | ×2.3 | ×1.3 | −6% |

Passives are permanent bonuses rolled at random when a slot unlocks. Epic cats have one slot (at 2 stars), Legendary cats two (2 and 4 stars) and Mythic cats three (0, 2 and 4 stars). Their strength depends on the cat's rarity, and a passive can be rerolled for gold.

7Gear
Gear is equipped by the whole squad in four slots that boost attack, attack speed, defence and wall health. Gear has its own rarity and a level tied to the wave where it was found, so stronger gear comes from deeper waves and tougher clan bosses.
8Summon
New cats come from the Summon screen, paid with gold. You can summon one cat or five at once with a 10% discount. Each summon shows its odds per rarity. After a summon you choose which cats to keep; your inventory holds up to 50.
9Gold and gems
The game has two in-game currencies. Gold is the everyday one: you get it from waves, tasks and rewards, and spend it on summons, merges, rerolls, extra PvP battles and market purchases.
Gems are the rarer one, found in waves, clan chests and season rewards. They can be swapped for gold, spent on the market, used to get VIP, or converted in the Exchange.
- Daily caps keep rewards balanced between new and veteran players
- Spending (summons, merges, fees) removes currency from the game to keep it balanced
10PvP Arena

In the Arena you and an opponent defend against the same zombie waves at the same time. The squad that lets fewer zombies through wins. Battles are simulated on the server and can be watched again as replays.
You get five free battles that recharge over time, and you can place a defence squad for when others attack you. Wins and losses move your rating through ranks from Bronze to Challenger. Each season ends with gold and gem rewards for the top players.
11Clans

A clan holds up to 30 players. Together you fight clan bosses in ten tiers: members commit cats to a shared team, the battle runs once the team is ready, and winners receive chests with gems, clan XP and a chance at gear.
Clan XP raises the clan level, which unlocks permanent perks for every member. Leaders can set a leadership share, a small part of boss rewards split between the clan's officers. Clans also have shared tasks and a private chat.
12Clan Wars

Clan Wars is the competitive event for clans, held on the 10th and 25th of each month. The ten strongest clans qualify and face each other one by one.
Each registered member places up to two cats on a shared map with 20 pedestals. Waves arrive in three phases that keep getting harder until one wall falls. Position matters: buff skills only reach the caster and its four closest cats, and some zombies are immune to certain effects.
- Up to 15 registered members per clan
- Wins decide the ranking, then wall health, then damage
- The top five clans share the rewards
13Market

The market is where players swap cats with each other for gold or gems. Every listing must stay between a minimum and a maximum price set by the cat's rarity and stars, which keeps prices fair and blocks abuse.
The seller pays a 20% fee on each sale. Fees leave the game, they are not paid to other players.
14Tasks and Meow Match
Daily tasks, a daily chest, achievements and partner tasks reward regular play with gold and gems.
Meow Match is a daily memory mini game: find all ten pairs of cats to get gold. Fewer moves and less time give a higher score on the daily and all-time rankings. The board is different for every player and is kept on the server.
15VIP
VIP is an optional status with five levels and comfort perks. Your level depends on what you added to the game in the last 30 days, or you can get it with gems at a discount. Perks are cumulative.
| Level | Perk |
|---|---|
VIP 1 | Auto Farm: your squad keeps playing waves for up to 24 hours while you are away |
VIP 2 | Free PvP battles recharge 50% faster |
VIP 3 | +5% daily farm cap |
VIP 4 | Clan boss cooldowns and chest timers 20% shorter |
VIP 5 | +10% daily farm cap, double daily conversion limit, market fee reduced to 15% |
16Friends
Every player has an invite link. When friends you invited play and buy gold, you get bonus gold in the game.
17Exchange
In the Exchange you can buy gold with GRAM. The game may also let you convert gems and send them to your wallet. This is an extra feature, not a right or a promise.
Conversions follow the rate, fee and daily limits shown in the game at that moment, and all of these can change. Conversions can also be delayed, limited or paused, for example for security checks.
18Fair play and security
Every battle, drop and mini game is calculated on the server; the app only shows the result. Up to 2 accounts per person. Bots, scripts and bug abuse are not allowed and can lead to removed rewards or a closed account.
We never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
